a bit of everything
Major project's pre-final presentation was over n it went surprisingly well. Whatever it is, thank q whoever you are. Nonetheless, the final submission for bridge design is due next Tuesday and hopefully i'll be able to compile everything by Sunday.
Niway,it wasn't until today that i realise there are some significant similarities in my design work. First will be the usage of perspex. Secondly, a combination of green and grey in my renderings...

the paranoia and the adrenalin rush
I hate presentations to the max. Why should there be so many presentations when its the final works that matters?? The boards, the layouts and not to mention the crits. Ugh. I'm really sick n tired with all these nonsense.....

a little bit of rant and a pint of fantasy
Dammit. The bad habit's back. I keep wondering y i tends to lost my temper and patience whenever i start to panic bout presentations layout and its contents. Its not something new..in fact, the same issue has been popping out since my 2nd year. I SERIOUSLY needs to reconnect back to my old self and learn to take things a bit easier.
I know my weaknesses well and maybe the ling was rite...I'm always comparing. Why the F**k should i compare and transforming myself into a breeding ground for ZITS and MORE ZITS. From NOW i'm gonna take things easy n learn to meditate!!!!

Site visit and a magpie story
It was a last minute plan that i'd decided to make my site visit at Malmsbury (an old mining town 1.5 hours train ride from Melbourne) yesterday night. Initially,I planned for the weekend but was told that the weather was gud today so yea...today's the day. The trip down was ok and managed to snap up as much photos as possible for my site analysis except for a magpie that came down from nowhere.
It happened when i'm on the way back to the railway station where i need to walk past the Malmsbury Park. I was strolling down the pathway and here came that thing... swooshing down from the back of my head and almost got me a heart attack. I was quite mad but freighted as well coz i'm the only 1 in the park. It attacked me for the second time and this time, i'm alert enough to noe its approaching me n sooo...i took my bag n smack it like the guys from world wresling federation. 'Soft' enough for it to stay alive and gud enough for it to stop hassling me. ugh..i hate ugly birds.
I got this info while searching for magpies in wikipedia
"In Chinese culture, the magpie is one of the most popular birds, and is seen as the messenger of good news and fortune. In fact, its name in Chinese means "bird of joy". Sounds gud eh...but then after further readings, the australian magpies are not related to the true magpies. It cost me my luck instead as i broke my teapot right after i reached home but i'm grateful enough to still have my eyes intacted as "Magpie attacks can cause injuries, typically wounds to the head and eyes".
